Good morning, Dayton. Here's your local news at a glance for Sunday, the 12th of October.
GOVERNMENT NEWS
- ➤ Gov. Mike DeWine confirmed that the former Hara Arena property is the preferred site for a state-run mental health facility—a $300 million project planned on a 130-acre lot that will include a 270,000-square-foot hospital modeled after one in Columbus and is expected to create 500 jobs. Trotwood officials oppose the plan and city manager Quincy Pope said public input did not support building a behavioral health facility at that location, adding the city may use zoning laws to challenge the project.
