EDUCATION NEWS
- ➤ Jefferson Twp. Schools is asking for a three-year, 1% income tax to generate nearly $1M a year for regular expenses since the district has faced eight years of deficit spending and risks state takeover if the levy does not pass. HEALTH NEWS
- ➤ Dayton voters will choose on the November ballot whether to add a 1-mill tax levy called Issue 9 that is expected to raise about $2M over 10 years to help build a public hospital in West Dayton.
