  • The Entrepreneurs’ Center marked a milestone year on Monday, Dec. 22 — President Scott Koorndyk reviewed the center’s progress in a Your Day interview and highlighted growth among local entrepreneurs.   • Dayton Police Department’s Blue Elf Program is spreading holiday cheer by delivering gifts to 44 children (from 13 families) with support from local organizations donating coats, turkey dinners and handmade quilts.   • Local stores in Kettering see brisk ticket sales as a $1.6 billion Powerball jackpot, the fourth-largest in history, drives interest ahead of Wednesday's 10:59 p.m. drawing + players hope to win a nearly $750 million lump sum if someone takes the prize.  WHIO-TV
