  • Dayton’s Entrepreneurs Center is exploring a new investment fund to give local startups access to capital — center leaders did not provide a timeline for the fund’s launch.  Dayton Daily News
  • Dutch Bros Coffee submitted plans for a new drive-thru at the corner of Ohio 741 and West Alex Bell Road in Miami Twp; the project will be reviewed by the Board of Trustees on Jan. 6, and if approved, construction will start mid to late spring + finish before summer's end.  Dayton Daily News

  • Ohio Tax Credit Authority approved a 10-year tax credit for CareSource’s expansion that is set to add 167 new full-time jobs (boosting annual payroll by over $12.5 million) at its Dayton headquarters.  Dayton Daily News
  • Holiday travel is set to hit record highs as nearly 5.1 million Ohioans plan trips; over 415,000 locals are expected to travel, including by plane from Dayton International — which has added staff and improved technology for smooth check-in.   • More than $2.9 million will fund 76 park projects that add trails, exercise equipment, and new amenities in 64 Ohio counties under an ODNR NatureWorks grant program; Gov. Mike DeWine and ODNR Director Mary Mertz say the funds will spur outdoor recreation.  Spectrum News 1
