  • With God's Grace hosted a Stuff the Cruiser event on Sunday by partnering with Montgomery County Sheriff's Office to turn cruisers into toy-filled sleighs for local children + volunteers helped support families in need. The group will host its annual toy giveaway on Saturday, Dec. 20 from noon to four.  Dayton 24/7 Now
  • A local restaurant will provide free meals for those in need Wednesday, Dec. 17 from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. Community members are welcome to visit and receive a meal.  WHIO-TV
  • Chabad of Greater Dayton held a Menorah lighting at Mall at Fairfield Commons to unite the community after a recent attack in Australia—attendees prayed for victims and sang songs of solidarity with the global Jewish community.  WHIO-TV

  • Dayton Flyers won 84 to 61 against North Florida at UD Arena on Saturday with an early 18 to 0 run and a 23 point effort from DeShayne Montgomery; the team now leads 4 to 0 against North Florida.  Dayton Daily News
  • Craig Stammen, a Dayton Flyers alumnus and the Padres' new manager, credits his college experience & coach Tony Vittorio for teaching him leadership and maturity that will guide him at his first MLB Winter Meetings.  Dayton Daily News
  • Miami's men's basketball team won on the road over Eastern Kentucky and matched their best start at 10-0 by building a 22-point lead. They will play at Wright State at 7 p.m. Tuesday.  Dayton Daily News
