- ➤ The City of Centerville has placed clean trash toters (at the Municipal Building, 100 W. Spring Valley Rd., and the Police Department, 155 W. Spring Valley Rd.) so residents can donate new, unopened baby diapers, kids' socks, underwear and pull-ups until November 30 to support Hope 4 Christmas Store. The drive, which helps about 1,000 children during the holiday season, is run by local churches and community partners (Municipal hours are 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. weekdays; donations at the Police Department are accepted 24 hours). - ➤ A Trotwood high school band lost its member Te’Auna Ellison and her mother Deonna in a car accident on E. Main Street and State Route 49 on Wednesday morning—this crash adds to the team's losses after a dance coach died in a similar incident two months ago. WHIO-TV

- ➤ World War II veteran Jim Erisman — a proud Farmersville resident — was honored by the Ohio Senate ahead of his 100th birthday. He served in Europe and earned multiple medals, reflecting his dedication to his country and family. Dayton Daily News
- ➤ A federal amendment added by U.S. Rep. Hal Rogers now directs the DOJ to submit a report within 120 days on steps taken against auto glass companies linked to the CCP for forced labor practices—an issue raised in a pending federal complaint that mentioned the local Fuyao plant. Fuyao officials have denied any wrongdoing after learning of the new legislative language. Dayton Daily News

- ➤ Dayton football ended its season with a 42-14 win at Davidson as the team scored 20 points off four turnovers (helping them finish 7-4 in the Pioneer Football League).
