  • Two Dayton-area companies signed big deals at the Dubai Air Show this week—GE Aerospace agreed to supply 130 GE9X engines for 65 Boeing 777-9 jets while Joby Aviation planned test flights for its electric air taxi in Saudi Arabia in the first half of next year.  Dayton Daily News
  • IBM and the University of Dayton announced a joint research collaboration to advance semiconductor and AI technology in a new nanofabrication facility that will open on campus by early 2027.   • Good Connections kicked off on November 19 when Goodwill Easter Seals Miami Valley introduced a new training program for Dayton residents with developmental disabilities; Jen Bonifas and Amber Hargett explained the program at the Your Day studio to boost essential job skills and independence.
