- ➤ Families enjoyed Deck the Diamond’s opening night on Friday as a holiday light show and winter wonderland featuring over 1.1 million lights, scavenger hunts, ornament decorating, and Santa sightings. - ➤ Jessica Ellis and her husband Johnathon have opened a second Fruity Smoothie Cafe in Piqua at the renovated former Miami Valley Centre Mall food court at 987 E. - ➤ The Ohio Department of Job and Family Services announced immediate steps to ensure households receive full SNAP benefits for November — the agency will add any remaining amounts to EBT cards after issuing partial payments following the government shutdown. - ➤ Today, Dayton marked 30 years since the Peace Accords when diplomats and local leaders gathered to honor the work of Richard Holbrooke, whose son David attended to remember his father's role in ending a Balkan war.
