- ➤ Hundreds gathered at Courthouse Square in downtown Dayton on Saturday to protest what they described as authoritarian power grabs—many protestors expressed concerns about the influence of billionaires and major corporations on democracy. - ➤ Seven candidates are running for the Lebanon Schools Board of Education—Jennifer Daulton and Esther Banta Larson will compete for one seat while Jessi Ellis-Alvarez, Michael Gliatti, Roy MacCutcheon, Ian McPherson and Danielle Schultz are in a five-person race for two seats. - ➤ Dayton’s Flyers ended their five-game winning streak with a 23-17 loss to Butler at Welcome Stadium on Saturday afternoon.
