- ➤ A study by Wright State University, the Greater Dayton Area Hospital Association, and OneMorning found that untreated mental illness cost the Dayton region nearly $30 billion a year, affecting work, health care, and life quality. The research, presented on Sept.22, showed that a 10% reduction in mental illness could boost the economy by over $1.27 billion+supporting better community health. Wright State University
