- ➤ onMain, a partnership between Premier Health and the University of Dayton, begins construction today at the former Montgomery County Fairgrounds on Main Street. The 38 acre project, located across from Miami Valley Hospital—has received more than $70 million in investments, including $35 million from Ohio’s Innovation Hub Program. Dayton Daily News
- ➤ Sheetz will open a new location at 4840 Needmore Road in Dayton Tuesday, Sept. 30 at 10 a.m., marking its 11th outlet in the Miami Valley and second in Dayton. - ➤ Wright State University will host its ninth annual Wright Day to Give on Tuesday, Sept. 30 and Wednesday, Oct. 1 with kickoff events at Southern Ohio Brewing in Beavercreek and Moeller Brew Barn in Maria Stein between 5 and 7 p.m. Donors will be invited to support their chosen university areas to help reach a goal of 1,200 donors—special incentives include challenges, matches and a pennant for new donors. - ➤ Box tree moths have been found in four additional counties—Clark, Preble, Ashtabula, and Cuyahoga—according to the Ohio Department of Agriculture. Officials will set traps and survey the areas while urging residents to inspect their boxwood shrubs for signs of infestation. WHIO-TV

- ➤ Ohio Attorney General Dave Yost filed a complaint in Montgomery County Common Pleas Court to remove Miami Twp fiscal officer Robert Matthews for allegedly using $9.7 million in township funds to buy gold coins—Matthews must reply within 28 days. Dayton Daily News
- ➤ Dayton city leaders are finalizing a plan to add up to 64 speed traffic cameras in school zones to address speeding complaints. The cameras will be installed by Modaxo Traffic Management USA under a contract that runs until the end of 2030 and aims to improve student safety. WYSO
