- ➤ Today, First Responder’s Day at Sinclair Community College brought community members face-to-face with fire science educators and rescue tool demonstrations—showing how local first responders train to save lives. GOVERNMENT NEWS
- ➤ This fall, Miami County voters will decide whether to make a 0.40-mill bridge levy continuous instead of voting every five years. County Engineer Paul Huelskamp said the change will lower ballot costs and help attract federal funds for projects like the Peterson Road Bridge replacement — ensuring that bridges get care for many years. - ➤ Ohio House Rep. Tom Young of Washington Twp is sponsoring H.B. 413—a bill to create a public database that will track every public dollar raised and spent in Ohio—and it has a $5 million startup ask with a committee hearing scheduled in the House Technology and Innovation Committee.
