- ➤ On Friday night, Montgomery County Sheriff’s Deputies arrested a man for domestic violence after he fled a home on Oneida Avenue in Dayton—using a K-9 unit and a drone to find him hiding in a trash can. Dayton 24/7 Now
- ➤ After receiving calls about suspicious vehicles lacking license plates, Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office took three people—including a minor—into custody on Burgess Avenue at 10:48 a.m. when a wanted man was identified and a man plus a girl interfered with his arrest. Dayton 24/7 Now

- ➤ Ohio State Highway Patrol officers in Montgomery County have been patrolling highways and ticketing drivers for speeding during Labor Day weekend near Dayton—one driver in a construction zone received a ticket and called it a wake-up call. Officers used laser tracking to clock some vehicles at high speeds and continue to enforce traffic laws to keep roads safe. WHIO-TV
