- ➤ A semi-truck flipped onto its side on I-75 and State Route 4 on August 24th, leaving lanes closed as the Dayton Police Department investigates the serious one-vehicle crash—drivers are advised to use alternate routes. Dayton Daily News
- ➤ A high school football player for the Tusky Valley Trojans was injured during Friday night's game when a hard tackle fractured his C4 vertebra, leaving him partially paralyzed with movement in his right arm but none in his legs, and he underwent surgery on Saturday while his team met with counselors on Sunday. - ➤ Families of Addicts held their 12th-annual Rally for Recovery on Sunday in Montgomery County to offer help for people dealing with addiction—over 65 booths, food trucks, face painting and a countdown recognized clean time.
