EDUCATION NEWS
- ➤ A Franklin County judge issued a temporary restraining order that halted the new law, so DPS is giving out 3,500 leftover bus passes to high school students today—students must wear IDs and sign a Code of Conduct while further court sessions are scheduled. City officials have also arranged partnerships with local groups if DPS faces future legal blocks. WYSO
- ➤ Dunbar High School parents said their kids get to school by rideshare or parent drop off this year because a Franklin County Court ruling halted the state law enforcing new bus passes, leaving Dayton Public to use last year’s passes. One parent said that safe school bus service is needed—others have found rideshares expensive and a long walk to an RTA stop makes the commute hard. Dayton Daily News

Enon Baptist Church, 1501 W.
