  • The Columbus-based band Twenty One Pilots will hold three listening parties in the Miami Valley to preview its upcoming album, Breach, which will be released on September 12. The events are scheduled at Omega Music in Dayton on Sept. 6 at 2 p.m.—Resignation Records in Troy on Sept. 6 at 7 p.m.—and Toxic Beauty Records in Yellow Springs on Sept. 7 at 4 p.m.  WHIO-TV

ECONOMY NEWS

  • AES Ohio filed a settlement last Wednesday to propose a 9% utility rate increase—lowered from 14% after talks—to cover safety and system upgrades from 2020 to 2024. If PUCO approves the plan, typical households will pay over $15 more every month while AES Ohio adds $1,000,000 to its Gift of Power program to help customers in need.  Dayton 24/7 Now
