- ➤ Deputies in Jefferson Township arrested one man after a call reported a stabbing near 19 Hanover Avenue on Thursday at 7:30 p.m.—two men were injured and taken to Miami Valley Hospital while the Montgomery County Sheriff's Office continues its investigation. Dayton 24/7 Now
- ➤ A 23-year-old man was killed in a shooting near a Dayton apartment complex before 11:30 p.m. Wednesday night—Montgomery County Coroner’s Office identified him as Deelaquan Smith while detectives investigate with no suspect named. WHIO-TV
- ➤ A 48-year-old man was fatally shot on Wednesday on Lombard Avenue and was later identified as Joseph Brandenburg by the Montgomery County Coroner’s Office after he died at Miami Valley Hospital — police interviewed a possible suspect and recovered multiple pieces of evidence, including handguns and casings.
