- ➤ Dayton Police are searching for a man pictured in connection with a violent July 11 assault on a 60-year-old man who was attacked by a group—one attacker encouraged his dogs to bite the man, causing injuries to his neck and hands—and the main suspect has already been arrested with a record of earlier animal warnings. - ➤ The Montgomery County Jail Coalition released its study on civilian oversight committees at a virtual meeting Tuesday at 7 pm following a petition of 2,101 signatures that called for regular jail reviews after seven deaths last year—research done with the University of Dayton’s Human Rights Center compared similar committees in other cities.
