- ➤ Students with the Victory Project are set to begin emergency response training on August 11 and will receive survival kits with essential life-saving equipment after the session. - ➤ Today, the Office of the Ohio Consumers Counsel said it is asking for more public hearings on CenterPoint Energy’s proposed gas rate hike at 6 p.m. at Dayton City Hall to let local consumers speak, while separate hearings for AES Ohio’s rate increase will be held in August at the Dayton Municipal Building—ensuring more opportunities for public input.
