- ➤ On Sunday, an adult man was shot in Jefferson Twp. in Montgomery County—deputies found him and medics took him to a local hospital where he is stable while the Special Investigations Unit continues to search for the suspect who fled the scene. Dayton Daily News
- ➤ On Saturday, deputies tried serving an arrest warrant to 32-year-old Denzelle Pouncy at a Deerfield Township home for allegedly hurting his girlfriend but when he did not come out—forcing the Tactical Response Unit to breach the home—the suspect was arrested while an alert to lock doors and windows was mistakenly sent to southwest Ohio due to a technical error. - ➤ A man was shot at a Jefferson Township apartment complex Sunday morning near the 7000 block of Bronson Street at about 10:45 a.m.—deputies arrived minutes later and medics transported him to the hospital while the suspect fled. WDTN
- ➤ Seven men were hospitalized after a two-vehicle crash in a Dayton neighborhood near Arlene Avenue and Owens Drive early Sunday morning when a speeding driver lost control while making a left turn and hit a parked car, prompting police to cite him for Failure to Control a Vehicle. - ➤ Wright State University’s Lake Campus was named Ohio’s best value by SmartAsset for its strong financial aid support, affordability and student success. - ➤ Gov. Mike DeWine and state officials announced $66 million in tax credits to help rehab 47 historic buildings across Ohio through the Historic Preservation Tax Credit Program. In the Miami Valley, the Greater Dayton RTA will acquire Air City Garage at 27 S. Jefferson St. with $2 million in credits + a former Sears at 5200 Salem Ave. in Trotwood will be renovated for mixed use with $2.5 million in credits. WDTN
