- ➤ A nonverbal woman with dementia named Nicole Brown was reported missing at 10 p.m. July 13 after leaving her home on Harold Drive and was found safe—police canceled the missing alert. WDTN

- ➤ Carillon Historical Park celebrated its 75th anniversary on June 3—showing decades of Dayton innovation from the Wright Brothers to local inventors. The park will unveil a new master plan later this fall to continue sharing the city’s rich history. Dayton Convention & Visitors Bureau
GOVERNMENT NEWS
- ➤ On Monday, the Clergy Community Coalition submitted the final paperwork to the city to put a public hospital initiative on the November ballot. Bishop Richard Cox said the measure, which gathered more than 1,200 valid signatures after earlier commission issues, is needed to serve uninsured patients — community members are invited to speak at the city commission meeting at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday as officials decide on the plan on July 23.
