- ➤ Dayton police are asking the community for help to find an eight-year-old boy with autism who is non-verbal and uses a wheelchair — he went missing from the 400 block of Xenia Avenue at 3:30 a.m. Saturday and was last seen wearing a gray t-shirt with cartoons and gray sweatpants; anyone with information should call 937-333-2677. - ➤ Wright State University was ranked among the top 6.7% of 21,462 universities worldwide in the 2025 Global 2000 list by the Center for World University Rankings; the university also placed 255th among U.S. institutions, reflecting its strong academic programs and affordable tuition. - ➤ Wright State alum Lindsay Aitchison earned a master’s in industrial and human factors engineering and now serves as deputy director of the Mars Campaign Office at NASA headquarters after receiving the 2025 College of Graduate Programs and Honors Studies Outstanding Alumni Award. - ➤ Wright State Police Department was named the July Agency of the Month by the Ohio Association of Chiefs of Police and the Law Enforcement Foundation for its community policing programs on campus. - ➤ Gov. Mike DeWine praised the Ohio State Highway Patrol and ODNR teams who joined Texas Department of Public Safety to help Texas after flash floods killed at least 121 and left 160 missing.
