- ➤ Papa John's plans to open a new restaurant at 2443 N. Gettysburg Ave in Dayton's Greenwich Village that will offer carryout and drive-thru service—replacing the former Church's Texas Chicken location. - ➤ Two Dayton women—Erica Buford, 49, and Kenya Nevins, 45—were indicted on Medicaid fraud charges for billing services that were not provided, resulting in reported losses of $1,888 and $1,835, officials said. WDTN
- ➤ A West Chester woman—Tmyah Whiters, 27—was sentenced to probation with up to five years on community control sanctions after she made false 911 calls about an alleged shooter in Dayton. Dayton Daily News
- ➤ A 17-year-old has been indicted for the robbery and shooting deaths of two adults in a November 11 incident at an apartment on Stewart Street in Dayton—witness statements and other evidence led to his arrest on December 18, and he will be arraigned on Tuesday, July 15 at 8:30 a.m. on charges that include multiple counts of murder. - ➤ Englewood Police issued an arrest warrant for 51-year-old Jacinda Simone Osborne after she allegedly kidnapped and robbed a 78-year-old woman near Meijer on North Main Street and forced her to withdraw cash from ATMs before fleeing near Sinclair Community College—officials now ask anyone with information to call them.
