- ➤ Huber Heights has issued a transit alert for residents ahead of its Star Spangled Heights celebration happening today at Thomas Cloud Park. The festivities include a 10 a.m.—parade run down Brandt Pike, a car show at 11 a.m., a flag raising at 12 p.m., vendors and food from 12 to 8 p.m., music at 1:30 p.m., and fireworks at 10 p.m.—with free parking available until 9 p.m. or when spots fill up. - ➤ A Darke County man — Jamin Brenner, 36 — was arrested today in Dayton and charged with aggravated murder and arson after a six-month investigation found he allegedly set his 86-year-old grandmother, Beverly Lees, on fire during a deadly blaze at Sherwood Forest Trailer Community on December 12.
