- ➤ A 23-year-old man identified as Manuel Jansen was recovered from Madison Lakes after he went missing while swimming with a group on Saturday in Trotwood—firefighters resumed recovery Sunday afternoon—officials warn that the lake remains dangerous. Dayton Daily News
- ➤ A 64-year-old man was hit by a 2015 silver Nissan Versa around 11:15 p.m. Monday night on Wayne Avenue in Dayton—law enforcement later arrested the driver for vehicular assault after the car did not stop. Dayton Daily News
- ➤ A 17-year-old motorcyclist died Tuesday on an I-75 ramp when his 2006 Suzuki DL1000 was struck by a 1995 Peterbilt 379 near the exit to State Route 123, and first responders arrived at 5:15 p.m. while the truck driver was taken to hospital with minor injuries — the Ohio State Highway Patrol is investigating.
