- ➤ A Rwandan immigrant was arrested in Dayton earlier this week for allegedly lying on his visa to hide his role in planning genocide—court documents state he provided weapons, transportation and planned killings of Tutsis during the conflict. WHIO-TV
- ➤ Two men—James Collins and Thomas Downey—face charges after leading a high-speed chase on I-75 in Dayton that caused multiple accidents, left four people hospitalized and one seriously injured, and resulted in Collins' suspended license; they will appear in court on June 26. Dayton 24/7 Now

- ➤ The Miami County Sheriff’s Office has been awarded nearly $300,000 — with $87,000 for new body cameras and more than $200,000 for inmate addiction support — to upgrade its equipment and services.
