  • Gov. Mike DeWine celebrated at Carillon Historical Park’s Wright Hall as he signed the bill making the 1905 Wright Flyer the official airplane of Ohio—accompanied by Wright family members who witnessed the reenactment of the signing that honors the state’s aviation heritage.  Dayton Daily News
  • A new Ohio law removed over 400K driver’s license suspensions — it also eliminated reinstatement fees for eligible drivers, officials said.  WHIO-TV
  • A poll by the Alliance for Safety and Justice showed that most Ohio voters opposed the DOJ’s $3.6 million funding cuts to public safety that stripped funds from local crime prevention groups.   • Attorney Judy Lamusga, a National Blood Donation Hall of Famer from Beavercreek, donated blood for her 600th time at Versiti Blood Center in downtown Dayton.
