Pitychoutis received a $413,681 grant to study phospholamban—the calcium-handling protein—to find safer treatments for autism, schizophrenia, and ADHD. - ➤ During Monday’s State of the City Address, Mayor Jeff Gore outlined major projects for Huber Heights, including a 56,000-square-foot indoor music venue set to open in 2028 with an adjacent hotel and Ohio’s first Buc-ee’s scheduled to open in April. The city had grown 14.2% to more than 43,000 residents while over 1,000 new homes are under construction — these projects aim to boost economic and cultural growth — as Huber Heights leaves behind its past issues with vacant storefronts.
