- ➤ A suspected drunk driver, Laquan Riley, lost control of his Chevrolet Silverado on Arlene Avenue early Saturday morning in Dayton—hitting two parked cars and a house before he was taken to hospital for minor injuries and arrested on charges including OVI, carrying a concealed weapon, using weapons while intoxicated, and improper handling of a firearm in a motor vehicle. - ➤ One person was hospitalized after a drive-by shooting early Sunday morning at Parkwood Drive and Main Street — officials are investigating the incident. WDTN

- ➤ On Sunday, a major storm damaged Glen Helen Nature Preserve in Yellow Springs by destroying the boardwalk and toppling a large tree, which caused the stream to swell into a river and forced the partial closure of the 405 Cory Street entrance. The preserve is asking residents to help with its restoration efforts or donate support—using the Cascades parking lot at 1075 State Route 343 until further notice. WDTN
