  • The family of DPS senior Alfred Hale III, who was shot and killed in early April while transferring at the downtown bus hub, and their lawyers spoke out on May 20—demanding immediate safety changes in school transportation and noting that Rep.   • A man is accused of robbing a construction worker at a business under construction on Tuesday after he reportedly used a firearm to take property and fled the scene — authorities later detained a suspect matching the description.  WHIO-TV

GOVERNMENT NEWS

  • The International Peace Museum is preparing to host delegates from over 30 countries at the 2025 NATO Parliamentary Assembly and will mark the 30th anniversary of the Dayton Peace Accords with updated exhibits — the museum will be closed to the public during the event. HEALTH NEWS

  • On Tuesday morning, Kettering Health experienced a cyber attack that led to a system-wide outage canceling procedures and disabling its call center— causing delays in patient care. REAL ESTATE NEWS

  • Developer Michael Heitz said state representatives talked with his agent months ago about the former Hara Arena site as a home for a new mental health facility — though no deal was reached.
