- ➤ Tipp City crews rescued two adults and a 3-year-old who clung to a tree after their boat went underwater near the Great Miami River on May 17—life jackets helped the adults reach dry ground and medics checked the group without needing to transport them to the hospital. WHIO-TV
- ➤ On Saturday afternoon, Tipp City Fire & EMS rescued a 3-year-old and two adults from the Great Miami River near 2900 East Ohio after their boat sank and left them clinging to a tree — all three refused treatment and the boat was not found. Dayton Daily News
