- ➤ A memorial blood drive honoring Dayton officer Kevin Brame will be held at Zion Baptist Church on May 17 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.—Brame was shot while off duty in 1999 and the FBI is still investigating his case. WHIO-TV
- ➤ On Saturday, May 10, Miami Valley postal workers took part in the 32nd annual Stamp Out Hunger food drive when the National Association of Letter Carriers urged residents to leave non-perishable food donations by their mailbox to aid The Foodbank—organizers had recommended setting bags out early to ensure they got picked up. - ➤ Texas EquuSearch Midwest spent hours searching near Huffman Dam in Kettering on Saturday morning for 9-year-old Erica Baker, who disappeared while walking her dog in February 1999; law enforcement continues to follow up on leads in her case. WHIO-TV
