- ➤ A Dayton Daily News investigation found that local lawmakers like Sen. Jon Husted, Sen. Bernie Moreno, and Reps. Mike Turner, Mike Carey, Warren Davidson, and Jim Jordan have not traded individual stocks in recent years while Rep. Greg Landsman sold many of his to build trust with his constituents. Lawmakers are now proposing a law (the Preventing Elected Leaders from Owning Securities and Investments Act) to ban such trades and avoid conflicts of interest. Dayton Daily News
