- ➤ Dayton officers and medics responded before 9:30 p.m. Thursday night at Salem Avenue and Philadelphia Drive after a 911 call reported a man hit by a truck then a car — he was later taken to the hospital where he died. WHIO-TV

- ➤ Home Cooked Vibes, the food truck known for its egg rolls, will open a new location inside Building 45 in Area B at Wright-Patterson Air Force Base on April 15; its Chicago-native owners plan to offer a varied menu with weekly specials and serve breakfast items from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday through Friday. - ➤ Shops By Todd opened its new concept store at The Greene in Beavercreek that combines the Occasionally Yours and Jake's Toggery brands into a boutique space featuring Daisy Mercantile. - ➤ Ohio Lt. Gov. Jim Tressel visited Wright State University as part of his statewide tour focused on workforce development and educational partnerships.
