- ➤ Dayton Police responded to a reported shooting on North Main Street Saturday morning — Montgomery County Regional Dispatch recorded a call at 4 a.m. in the 1900 block, and authorities have not confirmed further details. WDTN

- ➤ AES Ohio’s auction to set electricity prices was delayed to April 29 to give bidders more time to review additional load data, a public utilities commission spokesman said Friday—wholesale energy prices are rising after recent auctions by FirstEnergy and AEP Ohio. Dayton Daily News

- ➤ The Miami Conservancy District activated its flood protection system after heavy rain on Saturday morning—floodgates in Piqua, Troy, Wet Carrollton, Miamisburg, Middletown and Hamilton were closed. Crews monitored river levels and operated pump stations to control rising water. WHIO-TV
