  • Hot Head Burrito in Centerville will host a fundraiser for the Humane Society of Greater Dayton on April 2 from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m., donating 25% of in-store purchases when customers show a flyer at check-out (9046 Dayton Lebanon Pike).  WDTN
  • The third annual memorial basketball game honoring Deputy Matthew Yates was held Saturday at Tecumseh High School—over 20 teams played to raise funds for the Clark State Matthew Yates Memorial Scholarship that supports students entering law enforcement and mental health. Yates was killed in the line of duty on July 24, 2022.  WDTN

  • Piqua Police Department confirmed that crews responded to a crash on North County Road 25-A in Miami County at 10:42 a.m. on Saturday—calling a CareFlight helicopter to the active scene—and the area remains active.  WDTN

  • The family of a 25-year-old man who died in Montgomery County Jail earlier this week is launching an independent investigation after he was arrested on Sunday for crashing a car linked to a Beavercreek robbery — jail staff reportedly used a Taser and pepper spray during the incident.  Dayton Daily News
  • A statewide missing adult alert has been issued for Richard Foster, a 90-year-old man with dementia who left his home on W. Main Street in Newark on March 28th at 10:22 a.m. driving his silver 2020 GMC Terrain (FEP8709) and local police ask anyone who sees him to call 911 or (740) 670-7200.  WDTN
  • Police in Eaton investigated an incident on March 27th at William Bruce Elementary School when a nine-year-old student brought a 9mm gun to gym class after getting it from a grandparent’s house and the child was isolated as the case was sent to the prosecutor's office.  Dayton 24/7 Now
  • Authorities indicted a 29-year-old Beavercreek man for 12 drug theft felonies involving Schedule IV drugs from Discount Drug Mart in Washington Twp., where he worked as a pharmacy technician trainee from Nov. 2nd to Nov. 5th, 2024 — his arraignment is set for April 10 at Montgomery County Common Pleas Court.  Dayton Daily News
