  • The Foodbank Inc. will celebrate 50 years of service with a block party in June as it launches its new community building (nearly 11,000 sqft) in Miami Valley. The event will offer live entertainment, family activities, and refreshments while opening a space for community health services.  WYSO

  • Dayton and Montgomery County are hosting multiple America 250 events to mark the 250th anniversary of the Declaration of Independence.   • Health officials are tracking a mutated COVID-19 variant called Cicada that was first detected in Ohio in December and has since been found in over 23 countries; state data from Mar. 14 to 21 show 136 COVID hospitalizations while experts watch for a possible summer surge.  WHIO-TV
