- ➤ A former Kettering City School District network administrator, Joey Irwin—56—pleaded guilty to one count of sexual imposition and one count of aggravated assault in connection with an incident from 11 to 12 years ago. - ➤ The Ohio Department of Correction and Rehabilitation is planning to replace the Lebanon Correctional Institution on State Route 63 in Turtlecreek Township. An ODRC spokesperson said the project is in the early planning phase—architects and engineers will be chosen later—as the state proposed $30 million for a facility with a projected cost of $26.5 million. - ➤ The Dayton-made Wright Flyer III now awaits governor approval to become Ohio’s official state airplane after an 85-0 House vote on Senate Bill 24 (filed by Sen. Steve Huffman) on Wednesday.
