- ➤ 2,000+ AES Ohio customers remain without power after Friday's windstorm, and crews are working around the clock to restore service through the weekend. The utility says strong progress has been made, with power already returning to about 90% of initially affected customers. WHIO-TV
- ➤ Wright-Patt will recognize Fairborn for its community spirit after local schools and city services helped transport veterans returning from a September trip to Washington, D.C. - ➤ Transportation crews will adjust traffic patterns on I-75 and other highways (including ramp closures and lane shifts in key areas) in Montgomery, Warren and surrounding counties through 2026. Drivers should follow posted signs as work continues across the region. Dayton Daily News
- ➤ Captain Seth Koval of Stoutsville and Captain Curtis Angst of Columbus have been named as the two other Ohio Air National Guard airmen killed in a refueling crash in western Iraq on Thursday during Operation Epic Fury, and Governor DeWine ordered flags lowered to honor the three airmen. WHIO-TV
