  • Montgomery County leaders and local organizations hosted a first-of-its-kind Local Foods Conference today to address food insecurity and connect local food producers with buyers + community groups.   • Life Time will open a new fitness facility at 4242 Clyo Road in Sugarcreek this fall — replacing the former Five Seasons Family Sports Club — and Dillard's announced its grand opening event for March 19 at the Mall at Fairfield Commons.  Dayton Daily News

  • The Air Force Life Cycle Management Center is hosting an invitation only recruitment event at Wright-Patterson to fill critical roles in engineering, technology and finance. Applicants must register online by March 1 and may receive interview invitations in March.  Dayton Daily News

HEALTH NEWS

  • Montgomery County Public Health's Recovery Outreach Team won the Outstanding Quick Response Team award for the second year for reducing overdose deaths and supporting 1,643 people in recovery. REAL ESTATE NEWS

  • onMain has updated its master plan to redevelop the old fairgrounds (with work completed on the historic roundhouse) into Dayton’s Innovation District. The joint venture led by the University of Dayton and Premier Health has begun building the Think Dayton building, set to open in 2027 near Miami Valley Hospital.  WYSO

  • Dayton hosts March Madness with local basketball tournaments.   • The University of Dayton men’s basketball team led a wire-to-wire game Tuesday night at UD Arena to upset No. 23 Saint Louis — Amael L’Etang scored 26 points and grabbed 10 rebounds to give the Flyers a four-game win streak. They will face George Washington on Friday at 7 p.m.  WHIO-TV
