- ➤ A water main break closed Burkhardt Avenue between Woodman Drive and Spinning Road in Montgomery County yesterday—crews began repairs—and the road remains closed today. WHIO-TV

- ➤ Shock Theater Live: Multimedia Rock-Theater Hybrid Performance will take place at 7:30 p.m. May 15-16 at the PNC Arts Annex stage, where local band The Creepy Crawlers present a musical show about five misfit kids finding their place — a unique blend of rock and theater. Dayton Daily News

- ➤ Wright State University will use a $3 million Department of Education grant to train K–12 teachers and host student civics summer camps. - ➤ Wright-Patterson Air Force Base reopened Gate 22B on Sunday after a Saturday maintenance closure caused by a lapse in government funds, restoring 24-hour access to Area B; traffic had been rerouted to Gate 19B. Dayton 24/7 Now
- ➤ The VA has announced nearly $5B in facility upgrades this fiscal year with several local projects in Dayton. The Dayton VA Medical Center will get repairs on its sewer line, an expanded fiber optic backbone, and a modern electronic health record system as part of the planned improvements. Dayton Daily News
- ➤ Officials approved a nearly $4M contract with CJ Hughes Construction Co. for the Miami Well Field project near the former Kittyhawk Golf Center; the work will install pipe along Radvansky Lane and under the Great Miami River to reduce PFAS, with completion set for July 2027. Dayton Daily News
