About this event

Explore the art beyond the artwork with Frame of Mind, a special interest tour at the Dayton Art Institute! Discover the fascinating art history behind the frames that surround and enhance works of art. Learn how frames can reflect an artwork’s time, style and story, and see how they become an important part of the viewing experience. Then, put your creativity to work by designing your own frame to take home! Space is limited and spots fill up quickly. Advanced reservation is strongly encouraged. Please arrive 15 minutes prior to your session. Tickets can be purchased online or in person on the day of the program if not sold out. https://dai.ticketapp.org/portal/product/87/events
