Garden Committee Tuesdays

About this event

Come learn alongside community elders, experienced gardeners, and neighbors of all ages as we work together to grow a greener Dayton!

What we're working on:

• 🌱 Growing Our Nursery: Learning plant propagation (growing new plants from cuttings or parts of existing plants) so we can share more plants with families.

• 🏡 Mini Mobile Greenhouses for Seniors: Building small mobile greenhouses to help older adults grow plants at home year-round.

• 🌿 Greenhouse Planning: Choosing easy-to-grow houseplants, useful herbs, and medicinal plants for our community nursery.

• 🤝 Sharing Knowledge: Learning from one another and finding new ways to bring more greenery into our homes and neighborhoods.

Have a green thumb? Want to learn? Have ideas to share? There's a place for you!
